This Persian Tehran carpet is published in;

This carpet has exactly the same repertoire
of motifs as the example shown in Plate 162
but utilises a more traditional palette. Indeed,
looking at a detail of the field, only the
brightness of these colours and one or two
individual shades – a pale but vivid pistachio
green, for instance, or a light purplish blue
indicate that this is anything other than a
late-16th to early-17th century Kashan carpet,
instead of a modern Tehran carpet.
