This Persian Tabriz rug is published in;

This is an example of the contemporary ‘painterly’
style of Tabriz rugs, this one copied from a painting by Farshchian, one
of the leading contemporary Iranian painters working in a traditional
Persian style. It is worth reiterating that, though such pieces may not
be to Western taste, it would be churlish to deny the sheer technical
brilliance of the weavers.
