This Persian Dorokhsh carpet is published in;

THE STORY OF CARPETS, Essie Sakhai, London, 1991.

p. 114.

All over herati design, Doroksh, wool on cotton, late nineteenth century. This is a very interesting carpet using the herati pattern as the field design, the field being divided into implied vertical band. This is an example of the brilliance and inventiveness of Persian weavers.
